The ad was shown on the Italian gaming website console-tribe.com, but was quickly pulled down. The slim version of the console is said to include WiFi as standard, have a 250GB hard drive, and be compatible with Kinect. With Microsofts E3 conference happening later today we dont have long to wait to find out if this is real. Read more at Kotaku Matthews Opinion Looking at the image above, the machine looks a bit strange with the bend near the power button. It also looks less than stable standing on its end like that. Saying that though, the updated spec would be welcome. WiFi as standard is a must, and the base hard drive of 250GB is long overdue. Trying to squeeze extra money out of consumers for a WiFi peripheral and overcharging for hard drives just angers gamers. To say you are cheaper than PS3 while doing so adds insult to injury. With a 360 slim Microsoft could bring its console bang up-to-date. Of course, the one thing that will remain missing from the package is a Blu-ray drive, and without it the PS3 will always have an advantage. If Microsoft has managed to make a red-ring-free machine thats quiet Im sure it will sell a fair amount of new consoles, though.

Miyabi sempat berkomentar di akun Twitter-nya seusai melihat video yang berjudul Peterporn tersebut. Dalam akun Twitter yang diperbarui sejak Jumat (11/6/2010) hingga Sabtu (12/6/2010) malam, Miyabi mengungkapkan bahwa akhirnya dia bisa memperoleh video-video adegan ranjang itu setelah dua hari melakukan pencarian. Gadis molek berdarah Jepang-Perancis-Kanada ini mengaku penasaran dengan pemeran video tersebut. Meski tidak banyak berkomentar tentang orang-orang yang ada dalam video mesum itu, Miyabi kembali berkomentar di Twitter, yang antara lain ingin mengetahui siapa pemeran pria video porno yang kemudian mendapat julukan Peterporn itu. “Guys, after 2 days search on the web, today I get the real video of peterporn. Many thanks for my follower in Indonesia who give the link… (Teman-teman, setelah dua hari mencari di situs, hari ini saya mendapatkan video asli Peterporn. Terima kasih banyak buat pengikut saya di Indonesia yang sudah memberikan jalur ini…),” demikian komentar Miyabi. Di komentar berikutnya, Miyabi mengungkapkan keinginannya untuk bisa mengetahui sosok pria yang mirip Ariel “Peterpan” dan dua wanita presenter terkenal itu. Menurut gadis yang kini menato lengan kirinya dengan gambar bunga mawar dan sakura ini, pemeran video porno yang pria tampan dan pemeran wanitanya (lawan main si pria di ranjang) cantik-cantik. Hiroko, manajer Miyabi, saat dihubungi melalui surat elektronik mengungkapkan bahwa kabar soal video porno berjudul Peterporn itu diterima Miyabi tanpa sengaja di akun Twitter-nya. Selanjutnya, dari ketidaksengajaan itu Miyabi mulai mencari-cari di dunia maya dan akhirnya mendapatkan jalur yang dikirim oleh pengikutnya yang mengaku sebagai orang Indonesia. Sementara itu, Keike Kasumi, mahasiswi seni Jepang yang pernah menemani Warta Kota tatkala berkunjung ke Tokyo, saat dihubungi melalui surat elektronik pada Minggu (13/6/2010) pagi mengungkapkan, kabar tentang video porno berjudul Peterporn tersebut sudah ramai di kalangan remaja Jepang, khususnya di Tokyo, karena akses untuk mengunduh dari internet sangat mudah. Bahkan, kata Keike, dengan telepon seluler yang terkoneksi ke internet pun video porno tersebut bisa diunduh. Namun, gadis kelahiran Nakano, Jepang, ini tidak mengetahui berapa banyak remaja di negeri itu yang sudah mengunduhnya. Hanya saja, sepanjang tiga hari ini video tersebut jadi bahan pembicaraan dan dicari-cari. Keike pun mengaku sudah mengunduh salah satu video Peterporn tersebut. “Salah satu yang sudah saya unduh adalah video yang kualitas gambarnya lebih bagus. Kalau tidak salah dengan gambar yang miring. Di video itu pemeran wanitanya berwajah cantik. Berwajah Asia, tetapi kulitnya sangat bagus. Sedangkan yang laki-laki terlihat tampan dengan kulit agak gelap,” ujar Keike yang mengaku sudah menghapus file unduhannya itu dari memori telepon selulernya. – KOMPAS.com

Who really discovered America? If you think the earliest Americans were Christopher Columbus and his crew, or even the Native Americans they met here, youd be off by thousands of years. The debate over just how many yearsand how people lived after arriving hereis one of the most important in ancient U.S. history. The hunt for the American Adam, says David Meltzer, a professor of prehistory at Southern Methodist University, is a search for insight into how our species adapted to a truly new world. For much of the last century, scientists thought the earliest Americans got here 13,000 years ago, based upon spear points and bone tools found near Clovis, N.M. It was hypothesized that they came from Asia, walking across a land corridor that existed between Siberia and Alaska. After Clovis, other archaeologists thought theyd uncovered evidence of a still-earlier culture, but, ultimately, their claims always fell apart. Then, in 2002, scrappy ex-biker turned archaeologist Dennis Jenkins of the University of Oregons Museum of Natural and Cultural History began digging in his states Paisley Caves. He and his team uncovered a few bones of extinct species of horse and camel and also fossilized excrement, or coprolites in scientific-speak. He took the samples back to his lab and forgot about them. Four years later, Danish evolutionary biologist Eske Willerslev, an expert in ancient DNA, analyzed some coprolites he had taken from Jenkins lab for study. (Like our sweat and saliva, our excrement contains DNA.) He called Jenkins with amazing news: At least six of the samples had recognizable, intact human DNA with genetic markers linking them to ancient Native American, Siberian, and Asian peoples. Radiocarbon dating placed them at 14,300 years old, over 1000 years earlier than the Clovis find. Willerslev and Jenkins results were published in Science in 2008, and many archaeologists, even some who had defended the Clovis-first model, accepted their authenticity. However, the mainstream press fixated on the fact that the groundbreaking remains were nothing more than prehistoric human waste. So Jenkins got a nickname. Yes, he laughs, they call me Dr. Poop. Jenkins was cautious about his finds. I know, he says, how many archaeologists thought they changed the dominant Clovis paradigm, and they failed every time. Because some critics have said the Paisley coprolites could have come from animalsaccording to Jenkins, protein tests confirm they are indeed from humanshe knows that he must find artifacts fashioned by human hands to prove he has truly discovered the earliest Americans. Last summer, i traveled to central Oregon to see the dig for myself. Standing at the mouth of Paisley Cave #5its low, jagged roof creating the feeling of being inside a T-Rexs jawsI can see why people might have stopped there. The eight interconnected caves are the only shade, shelter, and protected elevation for miles. The work begins before 8 a.m. every day. It is methodical, dirty, and periodically stinky. Jenkins roams among the caves, conferring with the students and volunteers who are digging down five to 10 feet. He wants the artifacts found and photographed exactly where they were undergrounda nd not in the buckets of dirt screened later. At 9:15 one day, we hear a commotion from Cave #2a dust-caked student thinks she sees a coprolite. To prevent contamination, a sweaty student strips down to briefs and dons a white Tyvek protective suit and latex gloves. He grasps the specimen with sterile disposable forceps and gently lowers it, like a piece of plutonium, into a specimen cup. Among the most promising finds are two rectangular, palm-size bone fragments that appear to have been worked by hand into an object with five pointed teeth on one end. Testing reveals its a bear bone, and it is carbon-dated at more than 14,000 years old. It could be the oldest directly dated human-made artifact ever found on American soilthe first tool. But the burden of evidence is high, and Jenkins knows its hard to prove these teeth were shaped by a human and not by nature. Finding more of the same artifact could help his case. Over the summer, he also found pieces of what he thinks might be fabric, cordage, and basketry; theyre undergoing analysis. If Jenkins findings hold, they could cause other details of early U.S. history to be rewritten. Since geologists believe that 14,000 years ago an impassable ice sheet covered northern North America, the Paisley people could have come by boat along the Pacific Coast. Also, the first Americans were thought to have mainly eaten large mammals, but the Paisley coprolites reveal that their diet included vegetables, small animals, and bison. Jenkins and his team are digging at Paisley Caves again this summer. Look, Im not some great archaeological mind, he tells me. Im just a dirt archaeologist, a worker. I reached this point by being steady.
